Sandy Bleifer

Sandy Bleifer founded DownTown Enterprises in 1995 and incorporated as DownTown LA Realty, Inc. in 2005.  An early booster of downtown, she has been responsible for bringing developers, investors and a new wave of amenities and retail tenants to the Historic Core of downtown.  As a real estate broker, she was responsible for the sale of the Linda Lea Theater now slated for rehabilitation as a community venue, the Victor Building, a downtown icon that is being converted to lofts and the Holly Hills Office tower, destined for housing.

Sandy is the Sales and Marketing Representative for both Broadway National ( a single source provider of quality LED signage, lighting and architectural metalwork ) and Robotic Parking Systems (a designer, manufacturere and operator of fully automated modular parking systems).

Active in the downtown community since 1995, Sandy co-founded Angels Walk LA, an organization that charts pedestrian-friendly walks to places of historic and cultural interest downtown creating an awareness of the latent potential of the area long before the loft boom.

In 1999 she began the Fashion Business Incubator, which provides business support to start up and early stage apparel manufacturing companies in the Fashion District and now helps place companies launched by the incubator in the Fashion District downtown.

Sandy is the Mayor's appointee to the Lincoln Heights HPOZ Board and serves on several downtown organizations developing key revitalization projects: the Los Angeles Red Car, the Broadway Initiative's Task Force, the Transportation Committee, the Education Committee and the Housing and Land Use Committee of the Central City Association.

Sandy is also a professional artist who has exhibited internationally and is represented in over 300 museum and private collections. She is a life-long student of classical piano and has studied Japanese flower arranging for the past 12 years.

Roxanna Godinez

Associate / Certified Appraiser / Residential Real Estate specialist

In 1990, Roxanna was brought to the US from Guatemala to work as an Administrative Assistant for a small aerospace manufacturer. As the aerospace sector diminished, she was determined to pursue the American dream. She decided to enter the residential real estate prfessiona and obtained her license in 1992.

She outreached into the community by demonstrating the elements and benefits of home ownership to first time buyers, offering seminars in local churches. Her work experience with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac during the height of the foreclosure market in 1994-1997 gave her in-depth knowledge of the foreclosure process. In 2001, she became a Certified Appraiser and has appraised residential real estate throughout most of southern California and has served as an analyst for complex properties.

Born in Guatemala City, she was educated in La Antigua, Guatemala at an elementary school run by a Catholic Order of nuns, the Carmelitas. She progressed through middle school at Santa Infancia, an Andalusia Spanish school before completing high school at an American expatriate private school, Commercial-Guatemalteco. She speaks Spanish and English fluently, with some nowledge of French and italian. her favorite pastimes are horseback riding and going to museums and galleries.

Having lived in Downtown Los Angeles since 1994, she maintains a huge Rolodex of places to go, special places for shopping and the best places for entertainment in the neighborhood to help her clients enjoy the urban experience.
